What to Do In Case of a Parking Fine?

Using the Snabb app can help you avoid parking fines successfully, but sometimes, things happen, and you might forget to activate the parking session. Here are some tips in case you find a yellow fine ticket on the window.

Snabb has launched a new self-service site for fines, which allows users to conveniently view, pay, or appeal fines issued to their vehicle in one place.

The form for appealing fines has also been updated, making the entire process shorter and more convenient for customers.

How does the new fine portal work?

You can find information about parking fines issued to your vehicle on Snabb’s self-service portal at trahv.snabb.ee.

To enter the self-service portal, scan the QR code on the fine or go to the website trahv.snabb.ee and enter the parking fine number and the license plate number of your vehicle into the fields.

In the self-service portal, you will see information about the fines issued to the vehicle, which includes:

  • Status of the fine;
  • Reason for issuing the fine;
  • Parking lot where the fine was issued;
  • Date;
  • Images of the vehicle.

It is possible to conveniently pay or dispute the fine immediately through the self-service portal.

Paying the Fine

To pay the fine, click the “Pay” button and choose a suitable payment method. It is possible to pay with Apple and Google Pay or through a bank link.

NB! If you do not use the self-service payment link but wish to make a bank transfer, please do not forget to include the fine number as the reference number!

How to Appeal the Fine?

To dispute the fine, press the “File an appeal” button in the self-service portal, which will open the dispute form.

Please enter your full name and email address into the form so that we can keep you informed about the status of the fine.

Answer the questions about why you wish to dispute the fine. If desired, you can also attach supporting evidence in the form of pictures or invoices.

After filling out the questionnaire and submitting the appeal, we will send a confirmation to your email address as well.

We will reply to the appeal via email within 10 days at the latest. In case you have not received a response from us after 10 days, please contact us again. You do not have to pay the fine before receiving a response to the appeal.

Even after you’ve paid or appealed the fine, you can still access the fine information through the self-service portal to check if the payment went through or if your appeal was successful.
