In April, Snabb introduced Latvia\u2019s first pay-on-exit parking system, marking a major step forward in how parking is managed and experienced in the country. The project was first launched in the heart of Riga, at the Origo shopping center, and was delivered in close collaboration with BISS<\/a> and Verifone.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Snabb provided the digital infrastructure that powers the entire solution \u2014 from ANPR-based access control to real-time payment validation and enforcement. Snabb\u2019s platform connects hardware, payments, and user interfaces into a seamless experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We partnered with BISS for the hardware setup, including five payment kiosks and three pay-on-exit terminals, all featuring a custom-branded Snabb interface. Verifone equipped the project with secure, modern UX700 Android payment devices that support all major payment methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Origo: Latvia\u2019s First Pay-on-Exit Parking Lot<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Riga\u2019s shopping center Origo is now home to the country\u2019s first pay-on-exit parking system \u2014 fully operated and digitally managed by Snabb. The parking area includes two zones with ANPR cameras and automatic barriers. Snabb\u2019s system handles license plate recognition, fee calculation, and real-time barrier control. Drivers can pay at traditional kiosks or directly at the exit terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The process is smooth and takes under 20 seconds:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • The terminal shows the fee<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The driver pays using a contactless card or chip at the POS<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Snabb confirms the payment and opens the barrier<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    It\u2019s fast, fully digital, and requires no tickets or apps \u2014 just drive in and drive out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
